I have to say again that I did my best. He is one of the greatest tennis players in our sport. He’s the greatest man who’s ever held a bat.
I want to thank you for leading our sport so far. The sport deserves a player like you who pushes every player to improve. It’s not easy to lose another Grand Slam final, but I always want to come back and work hard.
I’m lucky to have very supportive people by my side. It is a great privilege for me to do this in my life.
I also want to thank the Greek sports fans who make me feel like I’m in my homeland. In closing, I would like to say that returning to Australia brings back good memories. Thank you very much. I hope to see you next year.”
