Despite being eliminated in singles by Nori at the Acapulco tournament, Stefanos Tsitsipas found the strength to stand by Feliciano Lopez and qualify for the doubles final.

He may not have qualified for the singles final after losing in straight sets to the trained Cameron Nori, but Stefanos Tsitsipas will have an opportunity to leave Acapulco with a title.

With his teammate, his good friend Feliciano Lopez, the Greek champion continues his lead on the doubles board and qualified for the final of the ATP 500 tournament together with the Spaniard.

After their quarterfinal victory over the No. 2 pair on the board, the Tsitsipas/Lopes won 6-4, 6-4 and lucky losers Lloyd Glaspool/Harry Heliovara and meet Arevalo/Roger for the title in Acapulco on Sunday.

The Greek-Spanish duo managed from two breaks in each set to secure a place in the final after 78 minutes of play.
