Andrey Rublev wins the Dubai tournament
(Dubai) Russian Andrey Rublev, world No.7, won the Dubai ATP tournament on Saturday by beating Czech Jiri Vesely 6-3, 6-4 in the final.
Rublev, 24, offers himself the 10and title of his career in singles and the second in a week after that won in Marseille last weekend.
The day after his semi-final hung against the Pole Hubert Hurkacz, won 3-6, 7-5, 7-6 (7/5), the Russian had much less trouble dominating in 80 minutes Vesely, 123and world but notably Novak Djokovic in the quarters.
