This is the schedule for Sunday’s Davis Cup fixtures between Greece and Ecuador, with Stefanos Tsitsipas’ clash with Andres Andrade being the highlight.

Sunday (February 5th) will probably be a promotion day for our Davis Cup national team. After an impressive start in rubber against Ecuador, where Greece won 2-0 on Day 1, there is only one step left for Greek tennis players to secure historic promotion to Davis Cup World Group I.

A win in the remaining three duels is needed by our representative group to eliminate Ecuador and qualify for the 1st division of the Davis Cup.

To succeed, she will need the help of her fans who, after an unprecedented turnout on Saturday (2/4) in the two singles matches of Day 1, are expected to break all records with their attendance on Sunday closed by OAKA.

The closed ‘Nikos Galis’ is expected to wear blue and white for the 2nd consecutive day, with Stefanos Tsitsipas of course set to be the face of the event.

As for the match day two schedule, the action starts at 12:00 with the doubles game.

Where the Tsitsipas brothers are unlikely to compete as the Petros Tsitsipas-Alexandros Skorilas duo was tested in recent practice, they will unexpectedly also be the ones to take the pitch, with Stefanos retaining his powers and the singles will follow .

The two Greeks meet the very experienced Ecuadorian duo, consisting of two top 100 doubles players. Gonzalo Escobar and Diego Hidalgo.

This is followed by the individual match between Stefanos Tsitsipas and Andre Andrade. Although the tennis player from Ecuador is doubtful because of an abdominal problem. The final tie, that of Aristotelis Thanos and Alvaros Guillen, is scheduled.
