Stefanos Tsitsipas, who won the Arevalo/Rocher set 2-0 with teammate Feliciano Lopez, was crowned doubles champion at the Acapulco tournament in Mexico. It was the first doubles title for the Greek champions (No. 4 in the world) who, after being eliminated in the semi-finals by Nori alone, ended their course in Mexico on a positive note.
Tsitsipas and Lopez only struggled in the first set, which they won on points 7-5 while the sequel was theirs. In the second set they showed their dynamism early on, were ahead and won 6:4 in the end and also won the title in Mexico.
