Tsitsipas for the people at OAKA: “Our honor to have been part of this historic moment”

Stefanos Tsitsipas posted on social media to thank the tennis friends who came to OAKA to support the national tennis team.

Stefanos Tsitsipas was undoubtedly the face of the two days he spent for our national team and he thanked the incredible crowd that had gathered at the closed Olympic facilities by posting it on his personal Instagram account.

Specifically he wrote: “We are honored by the undivided support of the record 12,400 Greeks who turned out for the Davis Cup games against Ecuador.

Playing in front of such a large and enthusiastic audience that has come together to make history is a truly unforgettable experience.

The passion and energy of this wonderful gathering was felt on and off the pitch and is a moment of pride for all Greeks.

We are honored to have been part of this historic moment and to represent the colors blue and white for something important. Thank you Greece for making this a day we will cherish forever.”
