Simon for Medvedev: “I fell in love with his game, he is a chess player …”
Jill Simon praised Danny Medvedev, who has been at the top of the world rankings since today (February 28), and stressed that he is a chess player on the pitch.
Danil Medvedev’s praise, who has replaced Novak Djokovic at No. 1 in the world rankings, was knitted by Jill Simon.
The veteran Frenchman, former world No. 6, called the Russian tennis player a genius, comparing him to a chess player and highlighting his intelligence and resourcefulness on the court.
“He’s a very interesting player and I quickly fell in love with the way he played. He’s extremely smart and understands everything. He’s a chess player, to be precise: he already knows what’s going to happen.
