Yannick began his path to the trophy from the quarter-finals, after Martin Fucovic withdrew from the tournament. In the quarterfinals, Yannick defeated Lorenzo Sonego in straight sets and tackled Arthur Fils in the semifinals.
For Sinner, this is the 7th trophy in the sump and the 4th on the indoor courts.
