“This is what Ukraine’s 1st racket looks like.” How did Stakhovsky troll Marchenko?
Former leader of Ukrainian tennis Sergei Stakhovsky he told how he trolled his friend Ilya Marchenko after not playing tennis for about 3 months:
“I ended my career after Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, but was still officially listed in the ATP rating. You have certain points and if you don’t play they start to run out and as a result you have nothing left at the end of the year.
So, somewhere I finished tennis on line 200 of the rating. Then I was number two, Ilya Marchenko was first. And now I haven’t played for three months, I’m losing points. Marchenko also started to lose so many points that he fell in love with me, that is. ranked below me It seems that I became the first racket of Ukraine without playing for three months.
I trolled, of course, I couldn’t miss such a moment. I sent him a photo with a machine gun and wrote: “This is what Ukraine’s first rackets look like.”
