The beginning of the cup defense. Sventek started by beating an American in Doha
The world’s first racket Iga Sventek Confidently defeated at the start of the WTA 500 series tournament in Doha (Qatar) (Poland) Daniel Collins (USA, WTA 42).
In the 1/8 finals of the competition, Iga knocked the American out of the standings at 54 minutes, giving him just one game.

Collins is a finalist for the 2021 Australian Open.
Interestingly, in 2022, Iga won the trophy on the courts in Doha.
In the next round of the tournament, Sventek will face Belinda Bencic.
