Russia is excluded from the Davis Cup and the Billie Jean King Cup
(Paris) The Russian tennis team was excluded on Tuesday from the Davis Cup and the Billie Jean Cup, two competitions of which it is the title holder, announced the international tennis federation.
This suspension, which also applies in Belarus, was taken “for an indefinite period”, specifies in a press release the ITF, which follows the recommendation made the day before by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
