Svyatek ruined the Russian woman. Doha tournament finalists announced
On February 17, the semi-finals of the WTA 500 series tournament were held in Doha (Qatar).
The world’s number one Iga Swiatek continued to dominate, destroying Veronika Kudermetova in less than an hour. It’s hard to believe, but polka lost two games on the way to the final. And before the quarter-final match with Iga, Swiss Belinda Bencic withdrew from the match.

Russian Karen Khachanov moved from 18th to 17th place in the ranking of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), a new version of which was published on the organization’s website.
The best among Russians remains Daniil Medvedev, located in 13th place, Andrei Rublev is 16th. There have been no changes in the top ten rankings: Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz is in the lead, Italian Jannik Sinner is second, and German representative Alexander Zverev is in third.
