Sviontek wins the prestigious tournament in Qatar in dominant style
The final of a major tournament of the WTA 500 series was held in Doha.
In the championship match, the world’s first racket Iga Sviontek confidently defeated the second seeded Jessica Pegula from the USA (#4 WTA).

Note that Swiatek only lost five games out of three on the way to the title. Before the quarterfinals, Belinda Bencic played with polka.
This is the first championship of the season for Sviontek, they have won 8 tournaments in the past.
Pegula will be in the top three in the next edition of the WTA rankings.
