Validolin. How did the Ukrainians react to Kalinina’s victory over the Russians?

The 1/32 final match of the prestigious WTA 1000 series tournament held in Dubai on Monday, February 20, took place between Ukraine’s first racket. Angelina Kalinina and Russian Veronika Kudermetova.

In the three-hour thriller, Angelina still managed to beat Kudermetova. After winning the first set, Kalinina won 5-2 against Veronica in the second set, but lost 5 games in a row. However, in the third installment, the Ukrainian managed to jam his opponent and interrupted the winning streak of up to 9 games against the Ukrainian tennis players.

After the meeting, Kalinina did not shake hands with the Russian woman, but, touching the rackets, thanked her opponent for the game. As one of the Ukrainian fans said: “The main thing is that I didn’t put shit on my hand.”

Naturally, this victory of the first racket of Ukraine against the representative of the terror country could not please the Ukrainian fans. Many compared Angelina to the legendary Elina Svitolina, who during her illustrious career often outstripped almost won matches.

smack: “Two important events: the arrival of Biden and the destruction of the z-Tatar”.

Stanislav Matusevych: “Angelina won completely our way and created problems for herself. In the end at least one of the Ukrainians beat this Katsap misunderstanding. And then it will be interesting, because many times in serious tournaments the draw gave a chance for Ukrainian derbies and almost always did not happen. Elina and Martha AO They played in Elina and Dayana Yuso, who else will remember? There was no contention in those matches, how will it be now? After all, the match is interesting, the two tennis players are radically different in terms of playing styles.

Alejandro: “Validolina…)”.

Aerobus43: “Bravo, young lady… a little worried, but the end result is worth it.”

Introvert: “The stories about our tennis maidens and the court are scarier than the story of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. As soon as they realize that victory is here, at one step their hands begin to tremble, the game disappears, and instead of a professional tennis player, a kind of caricatured twin remains on the court. I was surprised that he managed to lose afterward).”

Alex James: “5-2, surrender for the game. No, you need to bring it to validol.

Golf Cigar: “We did this together… There were four of us (in the match – ed.), a group of Russians… We knocked them down.”

Andrew: I can’t pass. I’m proud.”

Volodymyr Kovalenko: “Lucky! 2nd set failed, too many doubles, lost serve, not enough moves.

Slavarost: “Finally, at least one of us nailed this goat.”

Zoya Kovtun: “Finally! A miracle has happened!”

Tatyana Mogilei: “Good people, what’s going on? We won 5:2 but then we flew away… No, you had to run around the court to get your feet wet in the sea an hour ago. Ah…
