Rafa Nadal is counting the absolute 11 finals since the day he lost to Novak Djokovic at the 2019 Australian Open.

Rafael Nadal’s last final defeat he suffered was in Australia in 2019. In that match, Novak Djokovic completely dominated Rod Laver Arena, defeating his Spanish rival 6-3 6-2 6-3. Since then, Nadal has appeared in 11 finals and won them all!

Of the 11 finals, four were at Grand Slam tournaments (Roland Garros 2019, US Open 2019, Roland Garros 2020, Australian Open 2022), three at Masters 1000 (Rome Masters 2019, Rogers Cup 2019, Rome Masters 2021), three at ATP 500 (Acapulco 2020, 2022 and Barcelona 2021) and one in ATP 250 (Melbourne 2022).

Last week, the 35-year-old Spaniard won the 91st title of his career and his third this season in the same number of tournaments he has competed in (Melbourne, Australian Open, Acapulco). He’s now running a 15-0 streak a year and preparing for his 15th appearance at the Indian Wells Masters beginning March 10 in California.
