(Rio de Janeiro) Britain’s Cameron Norrie advanced to the Rio Tennis Open final with a 6-2, 3-6, 7-6 (3) win over Bernabe Zapata Miralles on Saturday.

Norrie’s third final this year is on Sunday against defending champion Carlos Alcaraz or Nicolas Jarry.

Norrie lost to Alcaraz in the final last week in Buenos Aires.

Norrie defeated Zapata Miralles in two and a half hours. In the deciding set, he saved a break point in the fifth game, before breaking his opponent. His first serve, more powerful, made the difference.
