Kostyuk beat AO 2021 finalist and will compete for the trophy at WTA level for the first time
Ukrainian tennis player Martha Kostyuk (WTA 52) reached the final at the WTA level for the first time in his career.
In the semifinals of the WTA 250 series tough tournament held in Austin (USA), Marta Daniel Collins (USA, WTA 38) 1 hour 25 minutes.

Previously, the Ukrainian had never won the semi-finals in WTA tournaments (three losses and one withdrawal before the match).
It was the first meeting of tennis players. Collins is a finalist for the 2021 Australian Open.
In the final in Austin, 20-year-old Kostyuk will play with the winner of the match, Varvara Gracheva – Katie Volynets.
In the previous round, Marta had beaten Anna-Lena Friedsam in two games.
