Djokovic has not received special permission to travel to the United States and will not compete in Indian Wells
Novak Djokovic’s application for a special permit to enter the USA from the American authorities was not accepted, so he will not be able to compete in Indian Wells.
Novak Djokovic had requested special permission from US authorities to enter the country and attend Indian Wells, which will be held in Miami from March 20 to April 2.
However, the USA has not granted him this and therefore the Serbian tennis player will not be able to participate in the tournament as he remains unvaccinated.
We remind you that the US has extended its travel guidelines until April 10, 2023, which means that no non-US travelers will be allowed to enter the country unless they are vaccinated.
