Gael MONFIS: “Elina will tell herself what she wants to do and when she wants to come back”
Elina Svitolina’s wife, Gael Monfils, does not know exactly when the Ukrainian tennis player will return to the field, but she is slowly getting in shape after giving birth.
“She’s coming back. Frankly, she’s very motivated to come back. It was really crazy because she just gave birth and she was so happy but she wanted to get back to her old form as soon as possible. She wanted to feel like she could play again. Elina was worried because she hadn’t played for a long time. And enough to pick up the racket again. “It was good. It was great. He trains now, he enjoys it.”
“He’s starting to move a little more because at first he wasn’t able to move intensely enough. But it’s better now. I think he has specific goals, so I think he’ll soon say what he wants to do and when he wants to come back,” Monfils told ATPTour.
