Shocking Greek. Tsitsipas sensationally lost at Indian Wells
Stefanos Tsitsipas from Greece, ranked 3rd in the world ranking, lost to Jordan Thompson of Australia in the second round of the Indian Wells tournament and ranked 87th in the Professional Tennis Association rankings.
The opponents spent 2 hours 37 minutes on the field and played three sets, the fate of two of which was determined by a tie-break, both in favor of Thompson.
In the third round – 1/16 final – Thompson will settle things with Chile’s Alejandro Tabilo, who eliminated the American Maxim Cressy from the tournament 7:6 (7:3), 7:6 (15) in the second round. :13).
