Alcaraz goes to line 1. Spaniard beat Australian at Indian Wells
19-year-old Spanish tennis player carlos alcaraz (ATP 2) was defeated in the 1/32 final of the ATP 1000 series tough tournament held in Indian Wells (USA). Thanasi Kokkinakisa (Australia, ATP 94) Two sets of 1 hour and 18 minutes.

In the next round of the match, Carlos will face Tallon Grikspor from the Netherlands.
Interestingly, if Alcaraz takes the trophy on the Indian Wells courts and then wins the tournament in Miami, it will regain the first place in the ATP standings, removing Novak Djokovic.
