Olkhovsky does not believe that Khachanov is in decline
Russian tennis player Karen Khachanov is so far drawn into the season, and not experiencing a recession, says two-time Grand Slam winner in mixed doubles Andrey Olkhovsky.
– I will not say that Khachanov is experiencing a recession. The decline has been going on for a long time. Perhaps Karen hasn’t made many appearances since the Australian Open and is still getting into it. The season is just beginning and there are many tournaments ahead. There are embarrassing defeats. But we need to prepare for the next tournament and keep playing,” Olkhovsky told Vprognoze.ru.
Khachanov in the third round of the Indian Wells tournament lost to Alejandro Davidovich Fokina in three games.
