Medvedev defeated Zverev in a three-hour match to advance to the quarterfinals of the tournament in Indian Wells
Daniil Medvedev defeated German representative Alexander Zverev in the 1/8 finals of the Masters in Indian Wells.
The Russian tennis player won the meeting in three games – 6:7 (5:7), 7:6 (7:4), 7:5. The match lasted 3 hours and 10 minutes, during which Medvedev filed 12 times right through and took three games at the reception.
During the second game, the Russian twisted his ankle, he needed medical help.
Medvedev won the seventeenth victory in a row. In the quarterfinals of the tournament, he will play against Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich-Fokine.
