Indian Wells: Rybakina took revenge on Sabalenka and picked her up

Elena Rybakina is the new champion of Indian Wells and wins the final against Arina Sabalenka 7-6(11), 6-4 after 2 hours and 6 minutes she won all but the first 1000th title of her career and the revenge for the lost final of the Australian Open.
The Kazakh’s stellar run since mid-2022 continues as she was crowned champion after winning the Wimbledon title and final at the Australian Open in California, taking revenge on Champalenka for her loss in the Melbourne final last January.
It is worth noting that in order to achieve such a feat, the Kazakhs had to beat the two best in the world rankings, Iga Sfiodek and Aryna Sabalenka, who are in the tournament for the first time since 2017, and Garbine Muguruza.
At the same time, after this win, Rybakina will rise to number 8 in the world, marking a new career peak.
