19-year-old Spanish tennis player carlos alcaraz (ATP 2) won the trophy at the ATP 1000 series tournament held in Indian Wells (USA).

The Spaniard never gave up on the field and did not even let Medvedev reach their breaking point.

Now Carlos has become the world’s first racket again. From line 1 of the ATP rating, he displaced Novak Djokovic (Serbia), who was banned from entering the United States (therefore, Novak does not participate in competitions in Indian Wells and Miami). Alcaraz will also need to defend the title in Miami to remain the best before the clay season begins.

For Alcaraz, this is the 3rd Masters earned. In total, he has 8 trophies at ATP level and one win at the US Open in 2022.

The score is now even in personal matches between Alcaras and Medvedev. Earlier, Daniil defeated the Spaniard at Wimbledon 2021.

Note that before the fight with Carlos, Medvedev had a 19-game winning streak and won 3 tournaments in a row.
