Medvedev climbed to fifth place in the ATP rankings
Russian Daniil Medvedev climbed to fifth place in the updated rating of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), gaining 4330 points.
Spaniard Carlos Alcaras, who defeated Medvedev earlier in the Masters final in Indian Wells, reached the first line in the ranking. The Spaniard scored 7420 points. Serb Novak Djokovic (7160) fell to second place, the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas (5770) came third.
