Lost match ball. Yastremskaya failed to enter the main tournament in Miami
Ukrainian tennis player Dayana Yastremskaya (WTA 136) lost in the final qualifiers of the WTA 1000 tournament in Miami (USA) Anne Lena Friedsam (Germany, WTA 98) in three sets of 2 hours and 30 minutes.

In the second set, Dayana took a match point on Friedsam’s serve in Game 10, but was unable to convert it. He lost the tie-break devastatingly soon after, and then abandoned the match.
It was the second personal meeting of tennis players. The girls last played at the start of the competition in Austin. Then Friedsam won both games.
In the first round of qualifying for the Miami tournament, Yastremskaya defeated Katie McNally.
