Legendary former tennis player reveals he has beaten cancer
Former world number 1 Martina Navratilova, who has won 18 Grand Slam titles, has announced that she has beaten cancer.
This was expressed by the British journalist Piers Morgan, citing the words of the 66-year-old Czechoslovak citizen who remembers receiving American citizenship in 1975.
The legendary Martina Navratilova said that the treatment was a real test for her. It has been reported that she will still need to undergo radiation therapy for a while, but will already be used for preventive purposes, she said.
Navratilova was treated for breast cancer in 2010. But in 2022 and early 2023, Martina reported a new tumor and also admitted to having throat cancer.
