Vanschelboim advances to second round after opponent’s rejection at ITF tournament in India

Ukrainian tennis player Eric Vanshelboim (No. 510 ATP) made it to the second round of the ITF M25 tournament that started in Lucknow (India).

The 21-year-old player of Bosnia and Herzegovina origin with Ukrainian citizenship faced David Perez Sanz (No. 671 ATP) from Spain in the first round. In the match, the opponents played only one game. Wonshelboym won, after which the Spanish tennis player refused to continue the fight.
