With Tsitsipas, Nadal, Alkarath and Medvedev, the entry list for the Barcelona Open
Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell tournament director David Ferrer announced the final list of the 70th edition of the tournament, confirming the participation of Tsitsipas, Nadal, Alkarath and Medvedev, among others.
The Barcelona Open celebrates its 70th anniversary with the presence of 11 of the world’s top 18 players, including Stefanos Tsitsipas, Rafa Nadal, Carlos Alcarat and Casper Rudd, Ferrer said at a press conference on Tuesday (21/3).
Of course, the big question mark is the participation of the institution’s multi-winner (12 titles), Rafa Nadal, who continues to train intensively at his academy to be ready for the clay-court season.
The gift will also be presented by the title holder Carlos Alkarath who will be placed at number 1 on the board and of course by the two-time finalist of the tournament (2018, 2021) Stefanos Tsitsipas who will be placed at number 1. 2.
In addition, Karen Khachanov, Pablo Karenio Busta (last year’s finalist), Albert Ramos Viñolas and Alejandro Davidovic Fokina have declared their participation.
The ATP 500 Barcelona Open tournament takes place from April 15th to 23rd.
