Tsitsipas with Shock, Sakkari with Siniakova in Indian Wells
Stefanos Tsitsipas (No. 5) meets American Jack Sock (No. 147), Maria Sakkari (No. 6) against Czech Katerina Siniakova (No. 55) in the second round of Indian Wells.
Stefanos Tsitsipas (World No. 5) has passed Indian Wells in the second round. The Greek top tennis player meets the American Jack Shock (No. 147), who overtook Juan Manuel Serundolo with a 2-0 set (6:1, 6:1). Tsitsipas will play on Saturday, the timing is not yet known.
Maria Sakkari (No. 6), who is also in the second round of the tournament, meets Katerina Siniakova (No. 55). The Czech tennis player beat Romanian Irina Begu 2-1 (6-2, 4-6, 6-4). It will be the fifth game between them while each counts two wins. The game takes place on Saturday.
Tsitsipas and Sakkari premiere in doubles on Friday. Tsitsipas, together with Felithiano Lopez, meets Klaassen/McLahan after 22:30, while Sakkari and Ayla Tomljanovic meet Martic/Rogers after 02:30.
