Vice President of the Russian Tennis Federation (RTF) Alexei Selivanenko noted the potential of the Russian tennis player Anastasia Potapova to become one of the leaders of the WTA Tour.

Potapova reached the fourth round of the WTA 1000 tournament in Miami, beating the sixth racket of the world American Corey Gauff in three games.

Any result is a combination of many factors. Obviously, this season Nastya has improved in all elements of the game and, most importantly, she has gained inner confidence in playing to win at the highest level.

Nastya, among others, has the potential to become one of the leaders of the tour, Selivanenko told RB Sport.

In the next match, the Russian woman will play with a tennis player from China, Zheng Qingwen.
