Coach Andreescu on Bianchi’s injury: ‘Hard to watch’
Paul AnnaconeBianchi Andreescu’s coach commented on another serious injury of the Canadian tennis player.
“It is a heart-wrenching sight. We have seen once again the high level of play he has shown in the past. Bianca hasn’t been healthy for long and now she’s finally back on the pitch and consistently playing at the top level. It’s one of those things that are not understood.
All our thoughts are with him, we wish him a speedy recovery. We want him to return to the field happy and healthy. It’s hard to watch,” the coach said.
Note that Andreescu suffered an ankle injury during the match against Ekaterina Alexandrova in Miami and was unable to leave the field alone.
