Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev admitted that he is trying to work to the maximum so as not to have regrets at the end of his career.
On Sunday, Medvedev won the Masters in Miami, beating Italian Yannick Sinner in the final. For the Russian, this is the fourth title in the last five tournaments in which he took part.
— I know that I can play well. It’s just a problem for any tennis player: sometimes you play well, sometimes you play worse. There are ups and downs. When there is a downturn, you never know when that upswing will come. Accordingly, the longer it is gone, the longer you experience it, the longer you hope for this rise. He came now.
What other goals do you have in your career? What do I dream about? I just try to do everything to the maximum so that there are no regrets when I finish my career. This is my main goal,” Medvedev told the “Championship”.
Medvedev in Miami reached the fifth final of the ATP tournament in a row and became the first player since 1981 to achieve such a result. Previously, he scored victories at tournaments in Rotterdam, Doha and Dubai, and lost to Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz in the final of the recent Masters in Indian Wells.
