Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev has been among the leaders of the world tour for several years, and now leads the ATP Championship race, said Vice President of the Russian Tennis Federation (RTF) Alexei Selivanenko.
– Now in the world tour there are a number of players claiming leadership. Daniel has been one of them for several years. At the same time, today Daniil is in the lead in the classification, taking into account the results from January 1 of this year (ATP Championship Race), Selivanenko told Vprognoze.ru.
On Monday, Medvedev moved up from second to first in the ATP Championship after winning the title at the Miami tournament. In the final of the tournament, he beat Italian Yannick Sinner with a score of 7:5, 6:3.
