Tsitsipas: Against the American Brooksby in the third round of Indian Wells
American Jenson Brooksby will be Stefanos Tsitsipas’ next opponent in the third round of Indian Wells, with the match scheduled for Monday (13/3).
Another American will be on the street from Stefanos Tsitsipas in Indian Wells. The Greek champion (No. 5 in the world), after overcoming the obstacle of Jack Shock with 2-1 sets, meets another athlete from the USA. Jenson Brooksby ( No. 43 in the world) will be the one who will try to put Tsitsipas hard and create the surprise.
Brooksby ruled out with ease Karen Katsanov (No. 26 in the world) 2:0 (6:0, 6:3) and caused a surprise against a strong opponent.
Tsitsipas’ game against Brooksby is scheduled for Monday (March 14), the time has not yet been announced by the organizing authority.

Four Ukrainian tennis players were included in the doubles entry list Australian Open 2025.
Ukrainian women will play in the doubles tournament on the courts of Melbourne: Marta Kostyuk, Dayana Yastremskaya, Lyudmila Kichenok and Nadezhda Kichenok. Unfortunately, there will be no all-Ukrainian tandem in Australia.
Kostyuk will perform alongside Elena-Gabriela Ruse at the Aus Open, and Yastremskaya will play alongside Alisha Parks.
Lyudmila and Nadezhda will not play together at AO-2026, although they will start the season with the same duet in the Brisbane 500 meters. It was announced that Lyudmila will be with Katie Volynets, and Nadezhda will be with Makoto Ninomiya.
Australian Open 2026 will take place from January 12 to February 1. Elina Svitolina, Marta Kostyuk, Dayana Yastremskaya and Alexandra Oleynikova will represent Ukraine in singles. Yulia Starodubtseva, Angelina Kalinina, Daria Snigur and Vitaly Sachko will perform in the eliminations.

Russian Karen Khachanov moved from 18th to 17th place in the ranking of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), a new version of which was published on the organization’s website.
The best among Russians remains Daniil Medvedev, located in 13th place, Andrei Rublev is 16th. There have been no changes in the top ten rankings: Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz is in the lead, Italian Jannik Sinner is second, and German representative Alexander Zverev is in third.
