(Toronto) Katherine Sebov will replace compatriot Bianca Andreescu on the Canadian Billie-Jean-King Cup team.

Sebov will replace the injured Andreescu for the qualifier against Belgium on April 14-15. The winners will earn their spot in the Billie-Jean-King Cup Finals.

She will reunite with captain Heidi El Tabakh, as well as teammates Leylah Annie Fernandez, Rebecca Marino and Gabriela Dabrowski in Vancouver.

Sebov occupies the 148^e WTA rank. This will be his fourth participation in the BJK Cup.

Australian Open Sinner in the round of 16 despite cramps

(Melbourne) Double title holder Jannik Sinner had to overcome heat and cramps to overcome American Eliot Spizzirri (85) on Saturday^e) 4-6, 6-3, 6-4, 6-4 and thus qualify for the round of 16 of the Australian Open.

“I had cramps first in my legs, then in my arm, then everywhere,” Sinner admitted.

“But tennis is a mental game. Even without being able to be at my best, I played as well as I could,” he added.

“If I want to go far here like the rest of the season, I have to play [bien] when it’s hot,” he insisted.

In search of a seventh Grand Slam title, the Italian will face his compatriot Luciano Darderi (25^e) to try to get back to the quarter-finals in Melbourne.

Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner made it to the fourth round of the Australian Open, which takes place in Melbourne.

In the third round match, the second-seeded Italian beat American Eliot Spizziri with a score of 4:6, 6:3, 6:4, 6:4. The fight lasted 3 hours 45 minutes.

The next opponent of the second racket of the world at the Australian Open will be his compatriot Luciano Darderi (22nd seed).
