Judge who fined Serena in 2018 US Open final retires
Famous Portuguese Judge Carlos Ramos He ended his 32-year career by playing the final match of the ATP 250 tournament at home in Estoril.
The 52-year-old Ramos has held 10 Grand Slam singles finals, one Olympic singles final and five Davis Cup finals during his career. Along with Allison Hughes, he is one of only two referees to have appeared in all four Grand Slam men’s finals.
