Defending champion Stefanos Tsitsipas meets Benjamin Bonzi in the second round of Monte Carlo (ATP 1000).
The 26-year-old Frenchman, No. 50 in the world, defeated Bernabé Thapata Mirages (No. 43) 6-1, 7-5 in his tournament debut and meets the Greek tennis player for the third time in his career.
Tsitsipas has beaten him both times before, in the first round of Halle 2022 and in the semifinals of Mallorca in the same year.
