Russian tennis player Anastasia Potapova shared the details of her relationship with tennis player Alexander Shevchenko.
– How did we meet? Yes, I have known Sasha since I was nine years old. Everything grew out of friendship. That is, we traveled, as with Varya Gracheva, all these Tennis Europe tournaments for 12, 14, 16 years. I knew Sasha for a long time. We have always been very close friends and somewhere after Australia we realized that this is probably something more than just friendship. And somehow they started to develop it.
Who took this step forward? Nobody, probably. It just kind of worked out. There was, I don’t know, such that Sasha somehow drove up. Through communication, everything came to this. And there were not even questions: neither me nor Sasha.
Sasha is very good. Just a very kind person. The quality that got me hooked? One of … But this is not Sasha’s coolest quality. He seems to be good, but at the same time he makes decisions that may surprise you. Yes, even his same visit to Linz – he took it and came. Few people can do this, especially when you yourself play on tour. And he flew from the tournament to Linz. Not even at the very beginning of the tournament, but at the quarterfinals. That is, it could have been one day. Or when he lost in Doha at two o’clock in the afternoon, and at six in the evening he was in Dubai. Naturally, I will not insist. I understand everything, because a tennis player. But no, I didn’t really ask, although it was nice. Moreover, I was sick, the reason was: “How are you sick, and I will be there?” Man. Literally flew in with soup, – quotes the words of Potapova “Championship”.
