Stefanos and Petros Tsitsipas came close to a Major qualification against Arevalos and Roger but lost 2-1 sets and were eliminated from the continuation of the Monte Carlo Masters.

Stefanos and Petros Tsitsipas made the breakthrough against doubles and Roland Garros champions Marcelo Arevalo and Jean-Julien Roger but couldn’t get over the excitement as they already knew defeat 6-2, 6-7(5), 10-5 in a game that ended after an hour and 55 minutes.

The doubles leader No. 3 easily won the first set 6-2, but Stefanos and Petros Tsitsipas responded by winning the second set in a tie break 7-6 (5).

That decided the qualification Match tie-break where Arevalos and Roger quickly made a double mini-break on Petros Tsitsipas’ serve, then finished the set and match 10-5.
