Tsitsipas: Data on his Indian Wells opponent after Medvedev’s exclusion
Medvedev’s exclusion has theoretically eased Stefanos Tsitsipas’ path to Indian Wells, although he has many challenges ahead.
On the night of Tuesday (March 15), Stefanos Tsitsipas meets Jenson Brooksby in the third round of Indian Wells (not before 3 a.m., live on Sportish).
However, he already knows that his way to continue the tournament has become easier after Medvedev’s suspension. This does not mean that everything is rosy as there are successive challenges to be overcome.
Even the match with Brooksby is theirs. The winner of the big match between Nori and Basilashvili is waiting for him in the fourth round.
In the quarterfinals he would face Medvedev but now his opponent will be one of Monfils and Alcarath while if he reaches the semifinals he will logically fall to Nadal.
