Stefanos Tsitsipas, in his best performance since his injury, won a 2-0 set against Nicolas Harry to reach the quarter-finals of the Monte Carlo Masters.

Stefanos Tsitsipas made his most full appearance in a long time. The world No. 3 won a 2-0 set against Nicola Harry (No. 58) to reach the quarter-finals of the Monte Carlo Masters.

Avoiding unforced errors, Steph grabbed two controlled breaks (one in each set) and secured his presence at least through the quarterfinals at the first Sand Masters of the year for the third straight year.


In the quarterfinals he meets the winner of the pair between Taylor Fritz and Jiri Lehetska.

The match: Stefanos Tsitsipas pressed from Harry’s two-serve game to reach the break. However, the Chilean was able to hold his serve.


From then on, however, the sequel belonged to the 24-year-old Greek tennis player. Steph won three straight games to take a 5-2 lead, then finished the opener 6-3.


Something similar happened in the second set. Hari was the first to threaten a break, but Stefanos Tsitsipas kept his serve at 2-2.

Immediately afterwards, the world No. 3 broke and held at love to take a 4-2 lead. He then just held serve to progress to a 6-4 win.
