Daniil Medvedev opened a dialogue with the platform over his disapproval, while also breaking out on the pole supporting the net.

There’s no doubting his tennis skills. A lot can be written about his behavior on the courts. The reason, of course, lies with Daniil Medvedev, who again did a lot in his match with Zverev.

First, after a double fault he committed, he gave the break to Zverev, then nervously he stormed the bar holding the net, which caused his opponent’s surprise, but also the referee’s delightful reaction.

Soon after, Medvedev got the break back and stayed alive in the match, and the boos on his face prompted him to give the platform the relevant nod to shut up, something he’d done many times before.

The referee tried to reassure him to end the dialogue with the stands, stressing that it was his job to ask people to stop.
