Rublev made it to the semifinals of the Monte Carlo Masters

In the very next game, the 25-year-old Russian equalized again from the service line, in the 7th he made a new break and kept his opponent at zero (4:3).

Immediate response from Straff who erased the break and even stayed in the match until game 12 and sent it into the tiebreak to decide there if we have a winner or a decider (6-6). After 11 minutes and 36 seconds, Rublev emerged victorious from the “battle”, earning the first 7 points and securing a place in the semifinals of the first clay court event of the season (7-6(5).
