Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev was unable to overcome the quarterfinal stage at the clay tournament in Monte Carlo, losing to Dane Holger Rune.
The match lasted 1 hour 17 minutes. Medvedev, like Rune, filed right through once and made two double faults. The Russian has one realized break point out of two, while his opponent has 3 out of 5.
Rune’s next opponent will be the winner of the match between Lorenzo Musetti (Italy, 16) and Yannick Sinner (Italy, 7).
