Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev, in response to Alexander Zverev’s allegations of foul play, advised the German representative to “look in the mirror.”

Earlier on Friday, Medvedev lost to Runa – 3:6, 4:6 in the match for reaching the semi-finals of the clay “Masters” in Monte Carlo. In the third round, the Russian beat Zverev – 6:3, 5:7, 6:7 (7:9). After the match, Zverev called Medvedev “one of the most dishonest players in the world.”

Sasha lives in her own world. I was already approached by five players in the locker room, who joked: “Come on, Daniel, why are you so dishonest?”

Sasha is not like Kasper Ruud, he is not like Diego Schwartzman, he is not like Andrei Rublev. When he says that someone is playing a foul game, you’re like, “Okay, great. Look at yourself in the mirror,” journalist James Gray quoted Medvedev as saying.

After leaving the Masters in Monte Carlo, Medvedev withdrew from the clay tournament in Barcelona.
