Sakkari: “No matter which island you go to in Greece, you will have a good time”
Maria Sakkari, when asked by a journalist about the beauties of Greece immediately after the confrontation with Kvitova, emphasized that any island that a traveler visits will have a good time, but Crete, Syros and Paros differ.
In another question from an American journalist after the great victory over Petra Kvitova and qualifying for the “16” of Indian Wellsthe Maria Sakkari Wearing her wonderful smile, she spoke about the many opportunities a visitor/tourist has in Greece.
“You come from such a beautiful country. If you had to suggest one place for Americans to visit Greece, what would it be?“was the question of the journalist with Sakkari, who was unable to choose just one and was given a choice between Paros, Antiparos, Syros and Crete.
“I always suggest my friends on the tour to visit Athens for two days first, no more because Athens is a small city. I’m not a big fan of Mykonos and Santorini because it’s crowded there. But there are many islands like Paros, Antiparos. My favorites are Syros and Crete. The truth is we have hundreds of islands so I’m having a hard time picking one.
I would say Paros and Antiparos are very hot right now. I spent special moments in Syros, an island next to Mykonos, and in Crete, where I spent my summer holidays last year. No matter which island you go to in Greece, it is beautiful and you will have a good timesaid Maria characteristically.
