Siner 1-2 Rouen: With a great deal of excitement, the Dane secured a spot for the Monte Carlo final
Holger Rune was the big winner in the second semi-final of the Monte Carlo Masters as he defeated Yannick Schinner in sets 2-1 and will compete in the final of the Monegasque tournament.
In a 162-minute duel, Holger Rune defeated Yannick Schinner 2:1 and thus advanced to the final of the Monte Carlo Masters.
The Italian tennis player went into the match furious and cleared the first set in half an hour, winning at 61. However, Rune “woke up” in the second set and the two tennis players engaged in a titanic battle in which the Dane defeated the other in two sets and victory.
Rooney’s opponent in the final will be Russia’s Andrei Rublev, who previously defeated Taylor Fritz. Their duel will take place on Easter Sunday (April 16) at 3:30 p.m. Greek time.
