“Rublev has always had great potential, but it took time to unleash it” – Kafelnikov

The most titled tennis player in the history of Russia, Yevgeny Kafelnikov, admitted that he was glad that Andrei Rublev won the Masters in Monte Carlo, the Russian took time to reveal his potential.
In the final, Rublev defeated the Dane Holger Rune with a score of 5:7, 6:2, 7:5.
— I am very happy for Andrey! This is his first significant victory, which will give him strength and incentive to achieve even greater results. Rublev always had great potential, but it took time for him to reveal it. This is a big win! Andrey Rublev will only get better from tournament to tournament. His zeal is limitless, Kafelnikov told Sport24.
For the 25-year-old Russian, this is the 13th ATP trophy, as well as the first victory in the Masters series tournaments.
